Who can join?

Forum membership is open to individuals from the voluntary, public, education and business sectors with expertise and interest in volunteers as mentors. It also includes volunteer mentors. Where possible these individuals will represent the interests of volunteers within their sectors and/or areas of interest.

Additionally, as we are interested in spreading mentoring and good practice throughout Northern Ireland, you are also welcome to join the Forum if you:

are interested in setting up a new volunteer mentoring project;
have a mentoring programme which you are concerned is not in line with the true definition of mentoring;
have a mentoring project but your mentors are not volunteers.

We feel you have a valuable contribution to make and will benefit from the good practice shared at the Forum. However, members must be aware that the Forum is committed to its focus on the role and development of volunteer, one-to-one mentoring in Northern Ireland.
