If taking referrals for mentees, for example, from social services, schools.  Mentoring works best when it is a voluntary arrangement.  If a mentee has been referred, how do you ensure that they want to come onto your programme and that they have not been very strongly encouraged (forced?) to join or have not been fully informed about what mentoring is?
