This is a two way process which gives you the opportunity to find out more about the volunteer but also for them to find out more about your organisation, project and the role of a mentor. Make sure you have the volunteer's application with you and have read over it before your interview. What questions will you ask? How will you record this? How can you make it a relaxed and informal meeting rather than scary interview panel?
