Introduction to Mentoring

Mentoring is a general term to describe a structured one-to-one relationship whereby an individual (mentor) provides support and guidance over a period of time to a mentee to help them set and achieve goals. Mentoring usually takes place during a period of transition in the mentee's (person being mentored) life.

There are many definitions for mentoring, which are usually tailored to suit individual projects' aims.
