University Certificate in the Effective Management of Volunteers

This Certificate is organised and delivered jointly by the Volunteer Development Agency and the School of Education at Queen's University Belfast (QUB). Delivered part-time over one year, it provides an academically rigorous programme based on nationally recognised standards of good practice. The programme is open to individuals who have some current responsibility for managing volunteers.

Are you looking for an academic yet wholly practical course to support and develop your role as a manager of volunteers?

Level
The course is credited at Level 1 and attracts 60 CATS points (equivalent to 60 credit points on a first year undergraduate programme).

Cost
£660 - bursaries may be available. Applications for bursaries are open to those who:

work or volunteer within the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland and;
have been offered a place on the above course.
