Introduction to Managing & Motivating Volunteers

(Previously Hands On Volunteer Management).  OCNNI Accreditation is available (3 credits at Level 2)

 

Using clear and fair policies and procedures in managing volunteers, taking account of their varying support needs and being aware of the need to give volunteers recognition are key tasks for volunteer managers.

 

This 2 day course is designed for those people who are responsible for managing volunteers in their organisations and resolving any difficulties that may arise through involving volunteers.  it aims to explore the good practice principles and procedures for the effective management and motivation of volunteers.
