Who is it for?

The Certificate in Community Volunteering is appropriate for most active volunteers.  However, additional learning support may be made available for those who require it - e.g. for candidates who have literacy difficulties.

 

Examples of the types of volunteers who may be attracted to the Certificate in Community Volunteering are:

• Volunteers who wish to develop their skills and confidence in accessing modern vocational awards before progressing onto specialist vocational training.
  
  
• Volunteers seeking formal quality assured recognition irrespective of any plans for further progression (e.g. volunteers for whom volunteering and this award are part of an enrichment/citizenship process).
  
  
• Volunteers who may wish to develop their role within the organisation.
