How can organisations access the CCV course for their volunteers?

Access direct delivery of CCV (Accredited or Non-Accredited)

The Agency has trained trainers in some areas across Northern Ireland to deliver the training in local venues.  The Agency can also deliver this training to a group of volunteers on a consultancy basis.  To find out about CCV delivery in the near future, please contact us at training@volunteering-ni.org

Become a delivery partner for CCV (Accredited)

The Agency will also train trainers from interested organisations to deliver the course to their own volunteers.

There are two options available depending on the training and assessment experience that the trainer in potential delivery organisations actually has.

  1. If individuals have little training/assessment experience then a two day course will outline delivery skills for the CCV, using the CCV tutor manual, how to assess a candidate's work against the CCV standards and the moderation process.
  2. OR if individuals have training and assessment experience then they may choose to attend a short orientation meeting which will only cover the assessment and moderation requirements for CCV.

Trained tutors will then be able to deliver the accredited programme in their organisations with the Agency as the NI Registered Centre providing support and guidance.  A full tutor manual will be provided for the trainer providing comprehensive guidance and resources for delivery of each session.  Contact us for details and associated costs of both options.

Or delivery non-accredited CCV yourself!

A comprehensive tutor manual providing everything you need to deliver non-accredited training sessions to volunteers can be purchased from the Agency for £90.  Trainers delivering non-accredited training can therefore select sessions according to the group's needs.  Contact us for details.
