The Keeping Safe Co-ordinators manage teams of community and statutory trainers who have achieved Open College Network accreditation, through Volunteer Now, and are monitored annually for quality assurance purposes.
Trainers are available to deliver a certificated 9 hour workshop on Awareness of Child Protection issues to voluntary and community groups in their area, which is free of charge. They can also deliver an optional additional 3 hour session on safer recruitment of staff and volunteers.
