The Keeping Safe Co-ordinators manage teams of community and statutory trainers who have achieved Open College Network accreditation, through the Volunteer Development Agency, and are monitored annually for quality assurance purposes.
Trainers are available to deliver a certificated 9 hour workshop on Awareness Child Protection issues to voluntary and community groups in their area, which is free of charge. They can also deliver workshops on Daytrips and Residential issues and on Disability Awareness.
The North Easter Education & Library Board also has a team of accredited trainers available for those groups who are registered with NEELB.
