Want to get more people volunteering with your organisation? Are you finding it difficult to advertise and promote what you do and how to get involved?

Getting it Write is for you!

Promoting volunteering and creating opportunities for volunteers from all ages and all walks of life are always high on everyone's list, but sometimes you're just too busy volunteering or supporting volunteers to get around to it.

Getting it Write is a workshop designed to help you get more people involved in volunteering with your organisation, which brings a huge range of benefits to everyone involved and at the same time strengthens community ownership of your organisation.

Funded by the Building Change Trust, this free half day workshop will help you to:

design good volunteering roles;
find out how to use the Volunteernow.co.uk website to promote volunteering in your organisation;
creatively write eye-catching volunteer adverts;
work with the media to effectively promote your volunteering opportunities.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who recruits, supports or manages volunteers in their organisation.
