About the organisation
The community's vision is expressed in the healing of social, religious and political divisions that exist in Northern Ireland and throughout the world.

Opportunities available
Short term volunteering opportunities last from a few days to a couple of weeks, long term opportunities last from six months to a year. However, applications are considered from anyone with time to spare.

About the work
Volunteers help with all aspects of the running of the centre, including planning activities, cooking, leading discussions, housekeeping, arts and crafts etc.

Experience and skills required
No specific experience or skills are necessary, but a commitment to Corrymeela's vision and ethos is essential.

Application details
For yearly positions, applications need to be made by the end of February each year, for six month positions by the end of October, and for summer programmes by the end of March.

Conditions of service
Long term volunteers are paid a small living allowance in addition to food and accommodation. They live in a community house with other members of staff and share twin rooms and have three days off every fortnight, plus six weeks annual holiday.
