Local Leaders is a fun new programme which London 2012 have launched to encourage even more people to get involved in the celebrations around the 2012 Games.
A Local Leader is someone in the community who pulls people together and gets stuff done. Local Leaders can organise any type of celebration they like, but London 2012 have provided a few celebration ideas to get people thinking. These include gardening for the games in the spring, hosting an opening night or holding a BBQ.
