A Review Of IiV Quality Standard Is Underway!

A Review of IiV Quality Standard is underway!

A review of Investing in Volunteers has been initiated to find out whether the quality standard is working as had been anticipated and to identify whether there are issues which need to be addressed now, or wait until a full, independent evaluation is conducted in three years time.

The review will consider:

  1. The standard itself;
  2. The process to accreditation;
  3. The management and administration of IiV.

Consultation is currently underway with IiV achievers, registered organisations going through the process, assessors and lead assessors, volunteer centres and other volunteer involving organisations.

The IiV Country Managers and Lead Assessors have suggested some revisions to the standard based on their knowledge and experience and using evidence and learning from stakeholders.  This revised standard has been agreed by UKVF, the Awarding Body as the basis for the review.

If you would like to take part, I would ask you to take a few moments to read the revised standard - click here - then click on the link below to answer some short questions online.  It should only take a few moments.
